Description: Waiting for your purchase is this modern-looking, yet vintage, planter from MCCOY POTTERY. The shape is geometric, perfect for today's decor. The planter sits on a rectangular base or foot just below two square "rings". It is very nicely shaped. The color is a deep forest green that is matte or non-shiny. It has a wonderful satiny feel to it. This planter has never been used, so it is nice enough to use in many ways, for instance, on your desk as a pen/pencil holder or as a candy dish. Think how festive red and white individually wrapped peppermint balls would look heaped in the dish. I'm sure you can think of even better uses. The full maker's mark is on the bottom of the planter along with the numbers "325" in raised lettering. I believe this dates to the 1950's.

Measurement: The planter stands 4 1/2 inches tall and measures 5 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches across the top opening. The base is 3 3/4 by 3 1/4 inches.

Condition: Great vintage condition, no chips or cracks--has one popped glaze bubble on rim-done at manufacture
