Vintage BONE CHINA CIGARETTE TRINKET BOX Ashtray Smoke Set Made in Japan Shabby Roses

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this vintage smoke set: cigarette trinket box and matching ashtray. The set is made of bone china and was made in Japan in the latter half of the 20th century. It is extremely well-made and quite lovely. The edge of the lid and ashtry are trimmed in gold. The design is applied by transfer and is a lovely one with old pink cabbage roses on the lid and ashtray. But, here, the maker has gone that extra mile and added more roses around all four sides of the box. Since smoking isn't fashionable today, this set could also be used as a dresser set with the box used as a trinket box and the ashtray, a catchall. This would be great in a romantic, rose-filled, or shabby decor. On bottom is the maker's mark, printed in gold letters. It says "Bone China" and "Made in Japan", and there is a large "E" shape. This set is too pretty to miss out on, so add it to your collection today.

Measurement: The box stands 2 inches tall. It measures about 4 inches across and a little over 3 inches front to back. The ashtray fits inside the box perfectly.

Condition: Great vintage condition, no chips or cracks, very minor wear to gold trim
