Vintage PFALTZGRAFF POTTERY ICE LIP PITCHER Stoneware FARMHOUSE Mustard McCoy?

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this wonderful vintage stoneware farmhouse ice lip pitcher from PFALTZGRAFF, I believe. The pitcher is made of a heavy pottery material and is a nice ochre or mustard yellow color inside and outside. It has a very "modern" shape with a high strap handle, bulbous or ball shape, and ice lip. The spout of the pitcher has a bar across it to keep the ice from tumbling into the glass as you pour--this is what ice lip means. There is no mark on the pottery, but I do believe it is early Pfaltzgraff because I have the exact same pitcher in another color, and it has an early mark from that company. But, it could also be McCoy, as I have a McCoy book which shows this same pitcher, in style and color. It would make a lovely addition to your table or collection.

Measurement: The pitcher measures 7 1/2 inches tall at the top of the handle. It measures 4 inches across the top opening. It appears to hold about a quart, perhaps more.

Condition: Great vintage condition, minor wear, some crazing on the pitcher (lines in the glaze caused by wear and age) see pics
