Description: Waiting for your purchase is this wonderful souvenir plate representing MAID OF THE MIST NIAGARA FALLS, CANADA. Maid of the mist is a tourist boat that takes visitors near the falls. This plate was made by PORTO FERRIERA in Brazil. The plate is white except for the brightly colorful center decoration. We see the falls, the mist, the ship, and a red and white buoy. The words "Maid of the Mist Niagara Falls, Canada" are below the colored center and done in black lettering. The full maker's mark is on the back. The plate is made of a nice quality porcelain type material and the plate is nicely shaped. Great attention to detail shows here, both in the plate manufacture and in the artwork. The plate is designed for decoration. I don't know if it is safe for food use, so I don't recommend it. It is a very nice plate to add to your collection and is in super condition.
