Vintage DOG HOUSE Figurine MADE IN JAPAN 1950s 2 Small Brown and White Dogs

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this charming vintage Japanese figurine, probably dating to the 1950's. It is made of a ceramic or porcelain type material. There is a rather flat doghouse with a curved arch entrance on a green block, representing grass. Out front are two small brown and white spotted dogs. The house roof is brown. On bottom, stamped in black lettering is "Made in -Pan", only the "pan" showed up in the stamp, not Japan, but this is where it is from. I believe this may have been intended for use as an aquarium or fishbowl decoration, since it would be easy for small fish to swim through the archway. It is an interesting vintage item, and it is in wonderful condition. It would make a nice addition to your "made in Japan" collection.

Measurement: The figurine stands 4 1/4 inches tall, it is just under 4 inches wide, and measures almost 2 1/2 inches front to back.

Condition: EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION--no chips or cracks---it looks slightly raggedy along the bottom, but this is where the green glaze didn't go all the way down
