The skillet is made of Corning material, white and very sturdy. It has a design on two sides featuring a blue house and tree. The skillet is a nice serving dish without the lid. It has a square design with 2 small tab handles and 4 small squared feet, giving it a very modern shape. It looks like a great thing to use to cook something like stuffed peppers or a casserole, but I am sure it has many other uses. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or stains. If you are missing the bottom of your set, here is a replacement. Or, it might be a great idea to have a second skillet as a spare. I see only the word "microwave" on the bottom, so I am unsure if it is safe for use otherwise. I do not recommend using it on top of the stove.

Measurement: The dish measures about 2 1/2 inches high at the handles. It is 11 1/2 inches across at the handles and just slightly over 9 1/2 inches across the other side.
