Vintage PFALTZGRAFF YORKTOWNE PLATTER Blue Stoneware 14" Country Farmhouse

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this nice large meat or serving PLATTER from PFALTZGRAFF in the YORKTOWNE pattern. It is made of a very good quality stoneware material. It has a cool, creamy color overall and light blue cobalt decoration. The blue edges the platter and is echoed in the center design of tulip-like flowers. The full Pfaltzgraff mark is incised on the bottom of the platter, and the number 16. This pattern is one of the older Pfaltzgraff patterns, an especially charming one. This platter is large enough for a nice sized beef roast, ham, or even a medium turkey. It is in super condition and looks never used. It measures about 14 inches long and 10 inches wide.

Measurement: 14 inches from side to side, 10 inches up and down ( 14 x 10 )

Condition: excellent--looks barely used, if at all--no chips, no cracks, no stains- has one small smooth unglazed area along the bottom that may be a manufacturing flaw, but it does not show unless you specifically turn the platter over and know where to look--not a real problem, but I did want to mention it-------this would make a very nice addition to your service.
