Description: Waiting for your purchase is this wonderful shaving mug, MADE IN JAPAN. It is made of a quality porcelain material, white inside and out. It is trimmed in gold along the top rim and again at the bottom. On the very bottom, the maker's mark is also in gold. It consists of an X shape, made of 5 dots of gold and the words "Made in Japan". On front of the mug is a transfer print of a large striped, snarling tiger on a hillside. Below this are the words "A Close Shave" in black lettering. This is a super mug for the shaving item collector or the big cat/tiger fancier or the collector of "made in Japan" items.

Measurement: The mug stands 3 1/4 inches tall and measures the same across the opening at the top. The mug has a squared ear handle that would fit about 2 fingers.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, some very minor wear to gold trim
