DESCRIPTION: Waiting for your purchase is a great vintage PHINNEY-WALKER travel alarm clock in the case. The clock still works and keeps time with the wind up switch on the back. I believe this to be c. 1920's - 30's.
It is marked on the back LUX CLOCK CO., WATERBURY CONN. Lux made clocks in Waterbury until 1941 when efforts were turned towards the war effort for WWII. The hands are painted to glow in the dark, presumably painted with radium (which caused numerous health problems for the workers who applied the radium).
