DESCRIPTION: Waiting for your purchase is a lovely red and white rose half-moon crescent candy dish. I'm not sure of the maker or designer, but many of these beautiful hand-painted dishes were done in Germany in the 1800's. Some research on these "half-moon" plates have speculated that they may be used on a table for fish bones or oyster shells.

MEASUREMENT: approx. 8 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches

CONDITION: great vintage condition; minor wear to rose design
