Description: Waiting for your purchase is this pretty vintage planter from the HULL POTTERY CO. Hull Pottery began in 1905 in Crooksville, Ohio and had many successful, productive years. It is famed for its Little Red Riding Hood pottery line, its art pottery, its dishware lines, and its florist wares, such as this planter. High production costs and competition from Asian markets took their toll on almost all of the famous American potteries, Hull, included. It finally closed its doors in 1985 and ceased production. Now, all Hull lines are in great demand and are very collectible. This planter features an overlapping, rounded leaf or scalloped shell design. The high quality pottery is glazed in a dark olive green-brown color with a lighter foam drip top. The shape is rectangular and the sides taper down to a slender base. The full Hull mark is on the bottom of the planter (see photos): Hull USA A 4.

Measurement: approx. 3 1/2 inches tall., 7 inches long, and 4 inches wide

Condition: Great vintage condition, no cracks or chips
