Description: Waiting for your purchase is this 1977 framed reverse painting on glass or silhouette picture. Parts of the scene are actually painted on the reverse of the glass in black paint. This combined with the colored print in the background adds depth to the picture. This one features a duck pond at sunset. A large tree is reverse painted on the left and its leaves appear to overhang the pond. Four birds are seen taking off in flight, while a mother duck and 4 little ducklings glide peacefully across the pond. Individual blades of grass are reverse painted along the bottom of the picture. The background print has yellows and oranges and blues. It reveals the other side of the pond in the distance. The picture is framed in a rough, dark wood. On back is an oval area which says "LULU'S INC.", gives the address and is dated 1977. Silhouette pictures are eagerly collected, even these more recent ones. Perhaps this one will find a happy home in your collection!

Measurement: The picture (frame included) measures just over 10 1/2 inches wide (across) and just over 6 1/2 inches tall (up and down).

Condition: VERY NICE VINTAGE CONDITION--no cracks to glass. Everything looks good. A small 1-2 inch area has splintered off the frame in the back upper left side. This is NOT seen from the front and does not detract from the item. There is a drilled hole along the top frame, meant as a hanger for the picture.
