Vintage Real Photograph CHURCH OR SCHOOL CLASS PHOTO 8 x 10 Black & White 50s 60s

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this wonderful vintage 8 x 10 inch black and white photograph of a girls' school or church class. The young ladies are posed along a room-wide white panel, decorated with ivy. A huge candelabra stands on each side of the group. Behind the group is a large, darker panel that has a depiction of the Holy Bible. Above this is a heading "A STORY TO TELL". The girls all have white dresses on and are wearing a pin or emblem on their left shoulders. All the girls appear to be teenagers, with the exception of 5 little younger girls in front of the group who are carrying pillows. Five of the older girls appear to have on crowns of some sort. A piano is on the right side of the photo in the foreground and rows of folding chairs in the center. By the length of the dresses and the hairstyles of the girls, I am guessing that this photo dates to the late 1950's or early 1960's. Not many of the girls are smiling, most do look sort of glum, in fact. There are no names or identifying marks on the photograph. The photo is in very good condition with no bends or folds. There is some light foxing on the back paper. I have absolutely no idea where this picture was taken, nor do I know any of the people. Perhaps one of them is you or someone you know?
