Vintage METAL FLOUR SIFTER Tin Litho Geometric 40'S-50'S Bromwell's? Androck?

DESCRIPTION: Waiting for your purchase is a wonderful old metal flour sifter. It is in wonderful condition for it's age ~ these were used in the 1940's through the 1960's. I could not find a maker's mark, but most of these sifters were made by Bromwell's or Androck. The tin litho design is a red and green geometric pattern around the sifter. It has a red wooden handle with all the original red paint. The inside of the sifter has been only gently used and the mess screen is perfectly intact. Products back in those days were meant to last and this is certainly a good example. The trace of the original price ".59" can still be seen on one side of the sifter! One could use this sifter today! A great collectible for a country kitchen décor.

MEASUREMENT: sifter measures approx. 6 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/3 inches in diameter at the opening

CONDITION: great vintage condition; design has a few scratches; very minor rust on the inside by the screen
