DESCRIPTION: Waiting for your purchase is a wonderful vintage aluminum colander. It has two handles for easy straining and a great 7 Star pattern holes for easy drainage. The bottom of the strainer has 3 metal "feet". I could not find a maker's mark, but I'm sure this dates to the 1950's or 60's. I wonder how much delicious food has been prepared with this over the years? It's the perfect strainer for rinsing pasta, draining vegetables or other kitchen cooking! It is made of durable aluminum, so it's still sturdy today! It would even make a cute vintage planter - the drainage holes are already there!
MEASUREMENT: approx. 5 inches tall and 9 1/2 inches wide in diameter
CONDITION: great gently used vintage condition; there are some minor scratches and dings (these just make it look wonderfully retro!)
