Lovely Vintage CURRIER & IVES Set of 4 Plates Made in Japan Snow Scenes Homestead in Winter

DESCRIPTION: Waiting for your purchase is a lovely set of four CURRIER AND IVES plates. They have beautiful nostalgic scenes and a gold splash border. The unique starburst shape makes the perfect frame for the nice design in the middle. The plates are named THE HOMESTEAD IN WINTER, THE OLD HOMESTEAD IN WINTER, HOME IN THE WILDERNESS, AND THE FARMER'S HOME-WINTER. Each has a delightful rural picture featuring the old-fashioned home and people feeding cows, tending to livestock, on a sleigh ride through a snow-covered street and a woman and child feeding chickens. The back of the plates have two holes in the base for hangers. There is a small sticker on the back of each plate that says JAPAN. A pretty country set that would look nice in any décor!

MEASUREMENT: Each plate measures approx. 7 1/3 inches in diameter

CONDITION: Great vintage condition, some very minor wear to the gold trim
