Vintage PITTYPAT'S PORCH Souvenir Pottery MUG Atlanta, GA Restaurant, McCoy?

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this pretty, vintage, advertising mug from PITTYPAT'S PORCH, a noted Atlanta, Ga. restaurant. The mug is made of a good quality pottery-type material. It is white inside and out, except for an oval shape on front with a man and a woman in front of a door. "Pittypat's Porch" is above the oval and "Atlanta, Georgia" is below. This design is done in black lettering. Around the rims of the mug are is a gold band. There is an incised U.S.A. on the bottom of the mug and I believe it could have been made by the McCoy Pottery Co., as they were known to do many souvenir mugs. I have other McCoy mugs and this one is very similar in pottery style. This is a nice addition to a collection of advertising mugs.

Measurement: the mug stands approx. 4 1/3 inches tall and measures 2 3/4 inches across the top opening. The base is slightly over 3 1/2 inches wide.

Condition: Great vintage condition; there are some worn spots on the gold rim; there is a crack on the base and a small area on the base/side which might be a chip, although it is smooth as if it were glazed over-it is on the right side below the advertisement
