Vintage ROYAL CHINA CO. Strawberry Pie Plate 1983 Country Farmhouse Recipe Deep Dish

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this lovely vintage pie dish by ROYAL CHINA BY JEANNETTE. This dish is a RECIPE dish, meaning it has the recipe on it for a delicious strawberry pie. This certainly eliminates having to look for that certain recipe when you need it! The baker is deep dish and is made of a good quality pottery material. Around the rim it is combed in dark brown, and just below this, the dish has raised ribbings that probably serve to show you where to crimp your pie, if you are using a top crust. In the center of the dish is the recipe, printed in brown lettering; and there is a nice drawing of a pint of strawberries and a pitcher of cream. On back of the dish is the full maker's mark. It says the dish is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. The dish was made in the USA, dating to the 1980's. The strawberry recipe sounds great, but you can also use this dish for any of your favorite pies. Recipe dishes are fun to collect, and they are colorful to hang in the kitchen for decoration, too. This one is in excellent condition.
