In this scene, there is a tranquil pond surrounded by delightful statuary. We see two lions guarding the pond and an archer with bow in hand. Further down the path, you can see other lifelike statues.

Under the scene it says "8. Versailles-Le Parc-Combat des Animaux et Allee des Trois Fontaines (The Park-The Fight between the Beasts and the the Three Fountains).

I believe this postcard to be vintage, perhaps dating to the 1900's -1920's.

On the back it says "Carte Postale" and gives space for both the correspondance and the address.

This card measures approx. 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches.

It is in great vintage condition~ not postally used, minor scuffing to corners, no creases
