Waiting for your purchase is a lovely postcard from the Palais de Versailles, Le Bassin de Latone.

On the front it features a wonderful photograph of the Grandes Eaux in all its glory. You can see the water clearly flowing from all points on the fountain! You can also see the many visitors standing around the edge of the fountain taking in the spectacle.

Below the fountain, it says "72 Palais de Versailles, Grandes Eaux, Le Bassin de Latone".

I believe this postcard to be vintage, perhaps from the 1930's-1940's. It has a lovely sepia brownish tone.

The back of the postcard says "Editions Des Musees Nationaux-Paris, Palais Du Louvre" in a circle.

The postcard measures approx. 3 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches.

It is in great vintage condition-not postally used, has minor scuffing to the edges; no creases
