Description: Waiting for your purchase is this charming tile and cast iron trivet, featuring the poem, MY KITCHEN PRAYER. The tile is from MID-STATE and the iron frame is marked TAIWAN. This is a larger trivet, and it would easily hold a pot of soup or casserole. The tile is white with a design of kitchen items such as a rolling pin, baking sheet, bowl, scoop, cutting board, and a green leafed ivy design along the sides. At the bottom of the tile is a table setting with a round table and 4 yellow chairs. The top has the large black printed words MY KITCHEN PRAYER, and it follows in smaller print. "Bless my little kitchen, Lord, I love its every nook. And bless me as I do my work, wash pots and pans and cook. May the meals that I prepare with Thy blessing and Thy grace, but most of all Thy love. As we partake of earthly food, the table Thou hast spread. We'll not forget to thank Thee for all our daily bread. So bless my little kitchen, Lord, and those who enter in. May they find only peace and happiness therein." The trivet is 11 inches tall and 7 inches across in diameter. This is a wonderful old kitchen collectible.

Condition: Generally excellent--no rust--no chips to tile--tile does have a very faint hairline crack near the cutting board--not noticeable if hung on wall--you have to know where to look to see it
