Vintage KENTUCKY DERBY Souvenir Glass 2002 Churchill Downs Horse Racing

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this official, authentic commemorative glass representing the 2002 KENTUCKY DERBY, the queen of horseraces. Now this year they got it right when they designed the glass. This one features a race horse, the twin spires, and that is what it is all about. The glass is clear. Around the middle of the glass is a frosted panel. Atop the panel is a widening band of dark blue around which small horses run. There is a widening green band below the panel. The words KENTUCKY DERBY. lettered in dark blue are in the middle of the panel under a large, white silhouette of a rider, then a smaller horse and rider. A large 128th is in the center of the panel. Just below this is, in green lettering, "Churchill Downs Louisville, Kentucky May 4, 2002". On back in blue lettering are listed all the winners of the famed Derby since 1875. Also in blue, it says "OFFICIAL C ALL RIGHTS RESERVED". This pretty glass is in excellent condition.

Measurement: The glass stands 5 1/4 inches tall and measures 2 3/4 inches across the top opening.
