Vintage KENTUCKY DERBY Souvenir Glass 1995 Churchill Downs Horse Racing

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this official, authentic commemorative glass representing the 1995 KENTUCKY DERBY, the queen of horseraces. Now this year they got it right when they designed the glass. This one features a race horse, the twin spires, a rose, and that is what it is all about. The glass is clear, made by LIBBEY GLASS CO., as you can see by the large 'L" logo in the bottom. Around the middle of the glass is a frosted panel. A narrow band of azure blue frames the frosted band at top and bottom. The word KENTUCKY is above a colored panel featuring a racehorse and rider, outlines of the twin spires in red against a blue background, and a bright red rose between the words DERBY and 121. Just below this is, in blue lettering, "Churchill Downs Louisville, Kentucky May 6, 1995". On back in black lettering are listed all the winners of the famed Derby since 1875. Also in black, it says "OFFICIAL HARRY M. STEVENS INC. 1995 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED". This pretty glass is in excellent condition.

Measurement: The glass stands 5 1/4 inches tall and measures 2 3/4 inches across the top opening.
