Lovely Vintage INDIANA GLASS Candy Dish with Lid Avocado Green 1970s Pedestal Loops

Description: Waiting for your purchase is this gorgeous covered candy dish. It is made of good quality sturdy glass and is avocado green in color, a color that was popular during the 1960's and 70's. Both the lid and the dish feature a design of overlapping ovals. The dish itself rests on a wide foot or base, connected to the dish by diamond-shaped designs. The top of the lid has a pointed, easy-to-handle knob. If you can resist temptation, it would be a great decorative idea to line up several candy dishes down the middle of your table, each containing a different candy or condiment. I believe it is made by Indiana Glass or Anchor Hocking, both quality glassmakers of the era.

Measurement: The dish stands 7 inches tall, including lid. It measures 6 inches across the middle, widest part, and is 3 3/4 inches across the base.

Condition: Great vintage condition, some small rough spots around the edge of the bottom (flea bites?)
